That's a busy week you got coming up there!

So yeah within the next week I have a lot to do....everything from midterms to final presentations are this week. And hopefully there will be enough time to squeeze some homework in. And then finals will be upon us all....

Today was a day that was crammed packed with lots of things to do. I went to all of my classes (which consists of 5 hours of classes) Then came home just in time to get ready for dinner and bible study. Instead of Bible study tonight we had a former UCUer named Emily come by and talk about her experiences in Iraq. It was very interesting listening to her and what she had to say about the culture and the Kurds. After that we had our Business meeting which I will not discuss here....and then we choose rooms for net quarter.

My roommate and I were the second to last to choose a room, which basically means that we get stuck with whatever everyone else doesn't want. This isn't actually as bad as it sounds because there really isn’t a bad room in the house. We ended up getting the crypt. So that means that I will be rooming with Allen (my current roommate), Jacob, and Chris next quarter. They are all great guys and I am sure that our room will become the place to be (if you know what I mean... 'cause I sure don't...).

I am excited about next quarter I have good classes and great roommates. By the way, I am taking Math 125, English 131, and Physics 121 next quarter.

After choosing rooms, I went out to bubble tea with Pettis, Jordan, and Ross. We sat around drinking our bubble tea and talking about wars, and history. Now I think I am going to get some homework done early...don't you hate it when you feel like you can put off homework just because it is not due the next day? I hate that, but I am not going to put this off!

Family

Today I went to college group where we talked about money and how we should deal with it according to God’s word. After church I went out with Alex to Arby's and ate lunch and talked about our lives. I went home and packed up my stuff so that I could go back to UCU. After I packed I watched another episode of 24 with my parents and then headed off to a concert.

The concert was held at Benaroya Hall in Downtown Seattle. It was called "The Sacred Sounds of Christmas" and was put on by the SPU choir. They were really good. I enjoyed hearing my first Christmas songs of the year. Some of my dad's side of the family came so I got to see some of my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

After the concert my mom, dad and aunt drove me back to UCU. I watched some tv, trying to put off some homework, and then I went upstairs and worked on the design of the UCU sweatshirt for about 2 hours. The sweatshirt will be really cool, on the front it will have the UCU crest (which I designed) and on the back it will have a hand drawen picture of the house.

My First Blog

Today I learned that Alex had a live journal account. I went and read some of his journals from this summer, and I realized that I really should have one also. I have been wanting to journal for awhile now, but I have never gotten around to it. While reading his journals I realized that you don't realize what you have forgotten until you remember it again. Chances are that I will never remember the little things again so that is one reason that I am starting a journal. Another reason that I am starting a journal is because I often don't see the blessings that God has placed in my life. I have found that it isn't until you look back in your life that you see what blessings that you have received. I figure that I will someday look back at this journal as a little time capsule of my life and it will allow me to see what blessings God has placed in my life.

Anyway, there is my first post of what I hope will be many more to come.
